Project Overview
Following successful delivery of the original crusher plant, Atlas Contracting was awarded the Phase 2 expansion works. This phase adds a secondary crushing circuit, extends the screening capacity, and includes a full electrical system upgrade to support the increased production.
Scope of Work
- Steel Structures: New secondary crusher support structure, additional conveyor galleries, and screen house extension — approximately 180 tonnes of structural steel
- Crusher Plant Construction: Installation of secondary cone crusher platform, additional vibrating screen structures, and new product stockpile conveyor system
- Electrical: Upgrade of main MCC panel, new motor control centres for Phase 2 equipment, cable tray extensions, and site lighting for expanded plant area
- Civil Works: New equipment foundations, extended access roads, and drainage modifications for the expanded footprint
Current Status
Steel fabrication completed. Civil foundations poured and curing. Site erection commenced. Electrical rough-in works running in parallel. Expected completion Q3 2025.
